Gyula Calvinist Church

The Calvinist Church of Gyula was built in the so-called Copf style between 1791 and 1795. It was destroyed by a fire in 1801 and subsequently rebuilt by Antal Czigler in 1804. Between 1820 and 1821 the northeastern part of the church was extended and a choir loft was added. In 1822 the church was equipped with an organ. The extensions to the church building were continued in 1825 and the current organ was built between 1824 and 1828. The steeple is above the two-storey southern gallery.
