The chapel was built by the survivors of the 1738 plague epidemic in 1741. It was extended In 1752, and the area surrounding it served as a cemetery between 1772 and 1795. The chapel, in its present form, was constructed between 1815 and 1817, and its Baroque core was enriched with Neoclassical elements.
It was then that the tower was built and the building was fitted with an organ, and bells in the tower. It has a length of 21 metres, a width of 7 metres, a height of 5 metres, and a tower height of 20 metres. The main altarpiece depicting the Holy Trinity was painted in 1839. The beautiful Baroque statue of the Virgin Mary, which is set in a glass case, is from the 18th century.
The original shingles were replaced with tiles after the roof of the chapel burnt down in 1930. In the tower there is a bell measuring 46 centimetres in diameter and weighing 60 kilograms, with the inscription IN HONOREM CRUCIFIXI 1907 FUDIT ANTONIUS NOVOTNY IN TEMESVÁR N. 2708.
The dedication of the chapel is celebrated on Holy Trinity Sunday at 18:00.
