World Clock

The World Clock, which was designed by András Bozó, is on a bustling plaza on the corner of Városház Street and Hétvezér Street since 2007. It is a popular meeting point and a spot for street entertainers during the summer months. The 3.5 ton emerald sphere placed at eye level symbolises the Earth and is illuminated at night, which makes it a stunning sight. It shows you all the time zones of our planet. The sphere is placed on a pedestal that shows the current time around the world. The World Clock is one of the most interesting sights of Gyula.
